With the increasing range of available IP signalling product types and functionalities – dialler capture, pin outputs, dual path, upload/download – IP alarm communications are set for further growth in 2011. IP alarm signalling uses existing network infrastructure for alarm monitoring, delivering savings and the benefits of line polling and encryption. Up to Grade 4 alarm signalling can be achieved at the same time as dispensing with the expensive phone lines needed for conventional alarm signalling. BoldNet IP is for new alarm systems or as a retrofit to existing panels. A wide range of product options are available, including dual path, relay outputs, dialler capture and pin alarms. At IFSEC 2011, Bold Communications will be demonstrating their industry leading IP alarm signalling solution on their stand C17 in Hall 4, together with the Gemini integrated alarm handling software.
