CCD: IDs for the Eurovison Song Contest 2011 |

The Eurovision Song Contest 2011 was the largest music show in the world: All over the globe around 125 million people watched this mega event on television. By providing special XXL cards for the accreditation, CCD contributed to a smooth run of the show in the Esprit Arena in Düsseldorf. The organizers needed to find a secure solution for the credentials of around 12.000 persons, such as artists, technicians, journalists, and VIPs. „Our XXL cards have proven to be the perfect solution for numerous large events, for example for many motorsport championships" stated Peter Alpmann, Senior Sales Director with CCD. For the Eurovision Song Contest 2011, CCD supplied it’s special XXL printers, RFID readers and 6.000 pre-personalised passes.
