CEM Systems, a brand of Tyco Security Products, has integrated the AC2000 security management system with the American Dynamics victor unified video management solution and the Tyco Minerva MX range of Fire Panels. AC2000 is an integrated access control, alarm processing and photo badging system. The Tyco Minerva Fire interface enables alarms from Minerva MX Fire panels to be fully integrated with the security management system. Using the central ‘Alarm Event Display’ application as a means of system integration, inputs from fire panels can be placed as icons on a single graphical map. This provides a graphical representation of the physical layout of fire sensors, panels or zones and allows for central alarm monitoring of both access control and fire alarms. American Dynamics victor is a unified security and surveillance solution providing the ability to view, manage and control live and recorded video from Intellex digital video recorders and VideoEdge network video recorders. The victor interface allows AC2000 access control alarms to be sent to the victor solution where they can be associated with video actions. The victor interface also allows control of AC2000 devices within the victor unified client, supporting access control features such as remote door lock/unlock. Acting as the central security management system, the AC2000 system provides a central command and control centre for access control, video, intrusion, perimeter detection and more [www.cemsys.com] [www.tycosecurityproducts.com]
