In addition to the reddot Design Award 2011, the new iGate of Heras Adronit has now won two other internationally renowned awards. In October 2011, the new sliding door was awarded in the Netherlands with the recognized Erkenning Good Industrial Design award. This award has existed since 1986 and is regarded as a mark of excellent industrial design in the Netherlands. Then, in November, followed the iF Design Award 2012. The jury chose the iGate among 2923 submissions for the winners in the field of product design. Selection criteria included the design, functionality, processing, ergonomics, durability and safety. The German iF design award has existed since 1954 and is conferred by the iF International Design form. The iF is represented in Hanover, Munich, Taiwan, Korea and Brazil. The prize has in the last 60 years become a symbol of excellence in design.
The sliding gate made of aluminum combines innovative design with unlimited possibilities for customization. The rounded design of the door and the guide column gibe it a modern atmosphere. Another special feature is the individual design of the infill opportunity and LED lighting. [www.heras-adronit.de]
