Flexible and integrative standalone technology

Kaba evolo is based on RFID standards and as a standalone system does not need any external wiring. The use of Kaba CardLink permits time-limited individual authorisations to be stored on the access medium. New authorisations or changes can be carried out easily without having to reprogram the door components. The entire system can therefore be managed centrally and transparently.

Kaba CardLink can also be used to integrate the individual components seamlessly into an online access control or time-recording systems. Existing mechanical systems can be extended easily with the Kaba evolo system.

Kaba evolo launches with a complete range

The launch of the Kaba evolo product range will include door components such as electronic door furniture, digital cylinders, wall readers, an update terminal and a desktop reader. The KEM management software (Kaba evolo manager) is used to administer the entire locking system from a central location. Data is exchanged wirelessly between the software and the door electronics via the programming unit. Smaller systems can even be set up manually without the need for any software, simply by using programming cards.

Many market requirements can be fulfilled using the Kaba evolo. This means there is a specific evolo product for every type of building. Solutions are available for glass doors, panic doors, security doors and automatic sliding doors. Mechanical locking systems can be extended easily by digital door components of Kaba evolo. The universal access elements allow the system to grow as required. This, together with the ability to migrate to online systems, guarantees the long-term investment protection.

The completely redesigned Kaba digital cylinder comes in a new look, ergonomic and compact design, with both visual and acoustic access signalisation. Powerful, energy-efficient electronics detect the RFID access media quickly, check the authorisation and allow the doors to open. The modular structure makes installation very simple:

A couple of minutes is all it takes to replace an existing

mechanical cylinder. The versions "standard", "dual", "semi" and "anti-panic" provide the perfect solution for virtually all doors.

Kaba c-lever compact – represents innovation and a new

premium, extremely compact design. This concept allows

installation of the door furniture independent of the cylinder and the mortise door lock in the shortest time – even on glass doors.

Kaba c-lever – user-friendly, robust and proven electronic door furniture in classical design. Kaba c-lever is compatible with practically all standardized commercial mortise door locks. Kaba c-lever can also be used on panic doors or hollow profiled doors. It is available in two shield widths and there are ten different handles to choose from.

The Kaba reader has a high-quality gloss finish and operates  locking components such as door openers, motorised locks, barriers and automatic doors. It fits in any standard flush-mounted socket and is available in two versions:

• The advantage of the remote reader for sabotage-proof installations is that the recording unit and the control system are separate. It is therefore suitable for outdoor applications and where high levels of security are required.
• A compact reader is available for organisational applications (e.g. indoors) that includes every function, making installation that much easier.

The Kaba Terminal is the elegant solution for updating or modifying access rights. Irrespective of the time, employees can, for example, receive their authorisation at the point of entry. This allows new authorisations to be granted efficiently and in a time-saving manner without having to reprogram the individual door components.

The granting of access authorisations can be implemented intuitively using the KEM management software on the PC. The event memory can be read out to obtain an overview of all access and system events. The KEM software enables the configuration, management of the media, users and the system and their evaluation to be carried out very simply and quickly.

The Kaba desktop reader is used to program new access media simply in combination with the KEM software. Simply connect to the USB interface and get started.
