Axis Communications, the global market leader in the network video market, today kicked of its participation at Intersec 2011, the largest and most comprehensive exhibition and conference for security and safety in the Middle East. The exhibition which is being held till Jan 18, 2011 will be a perfect showcase for Axis Communications to showcase its latest range of digital surveillance solutions. This is in line with its objective of being the driving force of network video in the Middle East to facilitate the shift from analogue to digital video surveillance. Visitors to the Axis stand (Hall 3, Booth 415 C) in Dubai World Trade Centre have the opportunity to see a variety of product demonstrations, information and insight into the latest technologies in video surveillance ranging from thermal imaging monitoring, easy installation, live demonstrations as well as reliable and robust solutions for outdoor use. In terms of its expanded presence at the event, Jonas Andersson, Director Business Development, Axis Communications and Chairman of Steering Committee, ONVIF, Sweden will be a keynote speaker. He will be addressing attendees with a presentation focusing on the business benefits and challenges in terms of Interoperability. He will also review ONVIF’s (Open Network Video Interface Forum) history and the progress that has been made to establish ONVIF as the leading global standardization initiative for IP-based physical security.
