Paramount Steel fence has a launched a new entry level automated gate with only three principle components for easy and fast assembly without specialist knowledge. The "Safeslide" is manufactured in a specific height of 2.4-metres, covering road widths 3m, 4m, 5m, and 6m wide. It has a standard mesh infill to specifically prevent a child from passing a hand, arm or leg through the design of the gate, and to further act as a physical safety guard as required under the moving machinery act.

It is supplied as standard fully galvanised, with the option to Powder coat in any RAL colour of the customers choice. Safeslide also features a drive system in a stainless steel vandal resistant enclosure. For the new system, Paramount has developed its own drive system, and has purpose design engineered the gears and propulsion system, along with the electronic control and safety management systems.

The use of collapsible circuit technology (monitoring voltage/amperage levels on the target circuit and react when those levels change [a wire is cut, an element wears out, etc.]) ensures the gate monitors itself again in order to meet safety legislation. [www.steelfence.co.uk]
