Atalaya3D is an innovative high-speed stereoscopic camera that uses parallel computing techniques to successfully perform real-time three-dimensional analysis of road traffic. It provides in a single unit a great variety of accurate traffic measurements such as precise speed and inter-distance measurement or vehicle counting and classification. Therefore, a single equipment can now provide traffic measurements that were previously delivered by separate equipments and investments. Atalaya Compact is an autonomous (no external trigger) megapixel smart camera to perform ALPR in real time and with top accuracy under challenging traffic, light and weather conditions. Atalaya Compact integrates a high-speed megapixel CMOS sensor (250 fps) and a supercomputing device (FPGA), to detect and analyze in real time the license plate from any vehicle. A GPS-based multiexposition technique (patent pending) allows reaching true 24x365 ALPR in a rainy day, at sunset time or even on non-reflective plates. Atalaya™Compact can be installed in a gantry or in the roadside, and it is deployable for average speed enforcement, dangerous goods transportation control, free-flow tolling and city access control among others. Atalaya Speed+Class is a software module that is used with the Atalaya Compact ALPR camera to deliver the vehicles speed as well as resolving their class.These additional traffic measurements can be achieved by using the great capabilities of Atalaya Compact, a camera capable of capturing 250 megapixel images per second, and by implementing advanced image processing techniques. Atalaya™Speed+Class module runs into the same Atalaya™Compact unit and all the results (ANPR, Speed and Class) are delivered in real-time. The combination of Atalaya Compact and Atalaya™Speed+Class delivers a great variety of traffic measurements in a single ALPR camera, without requiring any additional investments on inductive loops, radars or lasers. Mercury'Traffic is an ultra-compact license plate sensor that combines a megapixel high-speed CMOS sensor, able to capture up to 1,000 images per second, with a high-performance hardware performing advanced image processing algorithms in real-time, in order to detect the license plate of a vehicle with a very good image quality. With the license plate images provided by Mercury'Traffic, OCR software can really achieve top recognition rates.
