Hamburg, the "Environmental Capital of Europe 2011" has started a special event: The "Train of Ideas" tours (beginning on April 21st) 17 metropolitan aereas throughout Europe, such as Amsterdam, Paris and Zürich. Six exhibition-containers present more than 100 environmental projects that are currently executed in Hamburg and other european Cities. Aside from environmental exhibits on environmental and nature conservation in Hamburg, there are also projects of other metropolitan areas on show, like Kopenhagen's "green district" Nordhavnen and the bycicle traffic in the danish capital. Nantes, the environmental capital of 2013, will present a project on the train, that concerns itself with the possibilities for a better partcipation of the citizens within the climate-strategy of their city.

During the nights, the train is positioned on a remote siding. To avoid damages due to vandalism, Securitas-Personnel will secure the train in every station on the tour. All in all, there are 50 people of Securita's security forces staff from 18 european metropolitan areas, who secure the exhibition on 110 days with a total amount of 1650 working hours.
