Barco: Smarter visualization at Smart Cities India 2015 Print E-mail
Thursday, 21 May 2015 09:17
Barco has announced its presence at the Smart Cities India conference and exhibition in New Delhi, from 20 to 22 May next. At the dedicated Barco booth, attendees will discover how smart visualization solutions can help cities and decision-makers cope with energy, transportation, collaboration, corporate governance and other challenges.

In India as well as in other countries, the explosive growth of cities poses a lot of challenges on the infrastructure. Smart systems, which help authorities, utilities, etc. to make optimal use of available information, can help tackle the challenges of the accelerating urbanization. At Smart Cities India 2015, the Indian government gathers stakeholders, including government agencies, industry leaders and technology providers, to exchange knowledge and experience on smart systems – and, consequently, on smart cities – in India.

Getting the right perspective
Barco will be present at the event to show how its networked visualization solutions help enable a smarter tomorrow. Mirroring the concept of the event itself, Barco has divided its product offering into the following categories: Smart Energy, Transportation, Situation Room, Corporate Governance, Meeting Room and Healthcare. Highlights at the Barco booth will include the latest seamless curved video wall OSV, OverView MVL-721 and KVD-5521 LED and LCD video walls for energy monitoring and traffic control, the LDX LCD display with NGP-200 multi-screen controller for control rooms, the wireless ClickShare presentation system for smart collaboration and a wide range of high-end medical displays, including the Coronis Fusion 6MP.

“With its smart visualization solutions for control rooms, collaboration and healthcare, Barco enables its customers to get the right perspective on image and data management,” explains Vivekanand, Country Director at Barco India. “We are an excellent choice to let smart cities run smoothly.”
